The Royal Wedding and the Horror that was Princess Bea's Hat

What a day yesterday!  What a glorious day for love and lovers everywhere.  Sadly, it was also a day filled with horror for fashion-watchers everywhere, even the Queen....

 

I had gone to get a cup of coffee and had missed Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie getting out of their car and walking in.  Some time later, though, I noticed the most unusual thing I had ever seen - there was a reindeer seated behind the Queen and Prince Philip!  A reindeer?  No wait - what was that??  Augh!  It's Princess Beatrice's HAT!  As we say en francais, << C'est pas POSSIBLE!>>  Good Godfrey what was that girl thinking??

I've heard various hypotheses, including that Fergie dressed the girls as revenge for not being invited, which sounds plausible.

Anyway, the Royals all had a hard day, putting up with that hat.  We really have to give them credit for their stoicism.
